Leggings Weather

It's that amazing time of year when you can wear leggings and ride your bike to prospect park and still get a little sunkissed on your cheeks. Just got back from meeting a friend for a chat then headed to the Hungry Ghost coffee shop on Flatbush. A really great place to get iced coffee.

Guvnor's Vintage

Guvnor's  is right down the street on 5th ave in the slope and they always have the best affordable vintage. Especially those who enjoy a little dress up. I have been stalking this little beauty for the past few weeks. It hung on the wall above the register and it was love at first sight. I finally broke down and bought it. Of coarse mama's hips don't quite fit but it is beautiful to look at. And everyone knows my favorite drink is champagne.

Coney Island Burlesque Thursday Night is an experience, Friday night is tame in comaprison. If you thought the only thing to do in Coney Island was ride the Cyclone you are sorely mistaken. I mean we went to Coney Island to do that too but the ride was closed because the season is over.  

But instead I saw "teenage pregnant prom queen" eat her own fetus and a lady pirate and a tiny ginger man name Tiny Tig dressed as Tiny Tim do the splits, naked.

Tattoo Thursday

Triple Diamond Tattoo just opened down the street on 3rd ave. and Union and can I just say I am so very pleased. Jon Jon and Shannon run the place with the help of thier puppy Elwood and are probably the greatest people ever! I don't t think I have ever felt more at home in a tattoo shop in my life. Not only are the the people who run the place rad but Triple Diamond has an impressive collection of Oddities and Jewelry that doesn't make me cry when I look at the price tag.

Chris and I went to 3D because we have been planning bro tats for a while. And well Chris has a not so secret obsession with The Karate Kid and wanted everyone to know it. So he got Danielson and Johnny in the final fight scene on his calfs. Needless to say it was an exciting day.

Fancy Dinner Date with the Husby

 Edi and the Wolf is amazing we are already planning a second trip. I promise to take more pictures next time. The spatzle was probably the best thing I've ever eaten. EVER!
