Weave

My Experience with weave is limited. But when I decided to go blonde I got excited about the idea of toying with other hair options. I've changed the color of my hair a bunch sometimes it;s more purple sometimes its blue and sometimes silver. Having white hair is amazing because it's like an empty canvas you can do pretty much anything with. I searched online for good quality extensions and found Foxy Locks and was impressed by the reviews so I picked some up. I wear them whenever I am in the mood for a change.
I know extensions have that stigma of Jersey Shore and West Coast Valley girls but honestly I love being able to dramatically change up my look whenever I feel like it.

Whisky

Whisky is my go to drink. A whisky ginger ale. Or bourbon ginger ale if it's a fancier place. I went to Weather Up on Vanderbuilt in prospect Heights and they made a home made ginger ale for me using candied ginger. Eating that last bit of ginger candy made the whole drink worth it. Not to mention all the mixologists looked incredibly sporty in their waist coats.

Pig Island 2012- Governors Island NYC

Pig Island happens every summer here in NYC on Governor's Island, which used to be a naval academy and private government island thing( I hope I got my facts strait). The Island was opened to the public 4-5 years ago. It is an incredible place that you can bike around and explore old buildings and such. It is just a free ferry ride away, And if you bring a bike you board the ferry first! They have food carts there every weekend but once a year all of the pork lovers of the city gather on the island to feast on New York's best pork restaurants. And did I mention they have unlimited Six Point Beer? Yes it is amazing and I am already itching for next year's Pig Island.
